Christopher Emmanuel "Chris" Paul (born May 6, 1985) is an American high quality basketball player of the La Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Standing at 6 ft 0 in (1.83 m) and weighing 175 lb (79 kg), he's got began exclusively on the position of point guard. Paul has received the NBA Rookie of the Year Honor, an Olympic gold medal, and brought the National basketball association on assists 3 times and steals 6 times. Paul was a McDonald's All-American in high school. In December 8, 2011, the Hornets agreed to a three-team trade sending Paul on the L . A . Lakers. A NBA, who owned the team during the time, nullified the offer, with commissioner David Stern claiming New Orleans would be better off keeping Paul.The teams involved in the transaction attempted to negotiate the league to change its ruling and reconstruct the deal to no avail.On December 12, the Hornets agreed to a trade sending Paul to the Los Angeles Clippers, even so the deal broke down after the NBA added further needs to the original terms. 2 days later, the teams now made the trade, transferring Paul and 2 future second round draft picks to the Clippers for Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu, and the Minnesota Timberwolves' unprotected first round pick in the 2012 draft. After the deal's completion, Paul announced that he could opt into the final season of his agreement and stay for La for at least 2 more years.
